Time Management

I'm watching the talk on Youtube by Randy Paush on Time Management. I want to share some important points and quotes here, and what I'm learning from it.
.
"If you are not going to have fun, then why doing it."
.
"Do the right things adequately, not do the wrong things beautifully."
.
"Good judgement comes from experience, experience comes from bad judgement."
.
"If you can dream it, you can do it."
.
"There are no shortcuts, there are a lot of hard work in everything you want to accompolish."
.
"Do the ugliest things first."
.
Make 'Thank You' notes, because it is important and meaningful to that person. Write it on a paper, with ink not by emails.
.
Know what is the difference between 'effective' and 'efficiency'.
.
"Procrastinatation is the thief of time."
.
"Doing things last minute is very expensive. It is much more expansive if doing before the very last minute."
.
"Sometimes you just have to ask."
.
"You can accompolish a lot more when you have help."
.
"Communication has to be clear to avoid misunderstanding."
.
Gratitude. People like when they were told "Thank you, I really appreciate it, you did a good job."
.
"I dont want to be in a meeting where the people are half there."
.
Kill your television.
.
Exchange money for time. Eg. pay someone to do your lawn.
.
Eat, sleep, and exercise
.
Never break a promise. Renegotiate if you have to.
.
Ask for feedback with confidence. The honesty comes from the feedback means the world to you.
.
"Time is all we have. And you will find one day, that you have less than you think."
.
"Work-life balance- You will become more efficient at work, you can leave at 5 and go home and be with the people you love."
.
